BARRIO OF TLAXCALA
This neighborhood was founded in 1528 with the arrival of the Spanish conquerors. It was inhabitated by Tlaxcaltecas who came with them occupying the right side of Rio Amarillo. Its church is located right crossing the famous Mexicanos Bridge. During centuries, this neighborhood and Mexicanos were one of the entrances to the city through a stone road.

TRADITIONS
Here is celebrated the Virgen of Ocotlán on February 27. It is organized a parade of floats throughout the main neighborhood streets. Fireworks, traditional candies and food are sold in the square.
